October Birchbox Brag

What’s Birchbox you ask? This is some fancy talk straight from the source “Birchbox is the best way to discover new grooming, beauty and lifestyle products. Sample top products from high-end brands, get expert advice, buy new favorites and earn points with every purchase.

For October Birchbox paired up with Goop, which is Gwyneth Paltrows brand. Gwyn catches a lot of flack for it because everything is super $$$ on it, but according to her it’s all the basics that every woman should have. Yea, no, my parents aren’t famous old money actors hun. But thank’s for thinking of me!

I was excited for this box, really excited, I knew the products were going to cost more because I am pretty familiar with Goop, I also knew that a lot of them would be the organic free trade stuff, which lets just be honest with one and other here folks, I really don’t care about that.

{from LR}
Essie Polish– Pretty standard Essie polish, I now can’t find it on the site and it’s a dark grey color.
Joanna Vargas Daily Serum , this stuff is $85 a pop, I didn’t want to try it and fall in love, it went to my Mom
Naked Princess Naked Shine Luscious Lip Gloss– I received the Barley Nude color, it was true to it’s name, you couldn’t tell I was wearing anything. Another that went to my Mom.
Luna Bar, Chocolate Raspberry– Went to my Mom, I don’t find those things yummy at all.
Kiehls Orange Flower and Lychee body wash– I love all things Kiehls so this one I was super happy with. It smells nice and springy, so I will use it a lot during the winter, I know I will be ordering a full size of this guy.
I was pretty happy with my box due to the Kiehls and Essie, if one of those had been missing the box would have been a complete miss for me. I have some friends that were really happy with there goop boxes and some that I saw just sucked.
Were you happy with yours? If you did/didn’t get the goop box let Tara and I know why!
