Life Changes + Relays Headphone Giveaway

If you follow me on Pinterest you might notice I have been pinning more working out type pins lately. That’s because, well, I started working out. Now, I’m not expecting huge changes, I still eat like crap. But, it’s nice to get out of the house everyday and just listen to my music with out someone bugging me (except for training days). That was my purpose behind starting up at the gym, a hobby that doesn’t involve other people. Which, I have been looking forward to everyday, I get all depressed like when I can’t make it to the gym.

One thing that makes it easy is a good pair of headphones. I have had issues where I have gotten caught up in the wires while doing some light weight lifting, or the time I flung my phone across the gym because again, I got caught up in the wires. Check out the Relays headphones below, they have the nifty little clip that keep that from happening #genius .

Sweet! They look cool! I also loathe arm bands for my phone, so I got a flip belt and it’s literally the best invention ever for working out while also being able to hang onto your phone/keys.

    • Katie

I wanted to throw the damn arm band thing across the gym. I got a Shuffle, it was like $40 bucks and I like that. I keep everything else in my locker.

And my favorite work out song is “Jumpin Jumpin” by Destiny’s Child. Best song EVER to run to.

    • Katie

    • Katie

I think I have found “my song” but it’s only like, 2 min long so that doesn’t help me that much lol.

  • msa

Let’s see, my playlist has Kesha, Timbaland, JT, Will.I.Am, Britney and Eminem. Weirdest playlist ever? Possibly.

    • Katie

      More like MOST AWESOME EVER.

  • Melissa Rose

I really like The lonely forest and Ed Sheeran right now but it changes all the time.

    • Katie

Who is this guy? I have seen his name a lot, I always thought he was one of those dudes in a British boy bad.

      • Melissa Rose

Lol, I think he is British, but in a band on his own. He records all the background stuff on a loop, its pretty sweet

  • Paula V

Honestly, I prefer a mix of music so I listen to the radio. I’ve not stepped up into the world of playlists to get that variety.

    • Katie

The radio here sucks so bad. My car isn’t fancy and I can only listen to cd’s or radio and it KILLS me.

  • cwall

    Katy Perry “ROAR”! :)

    • Katie

I have some Katy Perry on there! I don’t think I have heard the Roar song though.

I’m going to have to look Charles Hamilton up!

  • Karen Peterson

I used to watch Dexter, and in the second season someone tells someone else to try listening to Chopin when they run. I tried it and it’s actually kind of awesome!

    • Katie

      Like, the classical music?

      • Karen Peterson

Yeah. It seems so weird, but the rhythm is actually really good for running.

  • Cori Westphal

My newest one is Talk Dirty to Me from Jason DaRulo!
